Marcus is an admitted attorney and notary public of the High Court of South Africa with over 15 years specialised experience in immigration law. He provides expert advice and assistance to foreign individuals, families, corporate entities, universities, and religious organisations on a wide range of immigration matters.
He is the Chairperson of the Immigration & Refugee Law Committee of the LSSA, where he assists to shape immigration policy, laws, and the training of legal professionals. Marcus has presented numerous immigration law webinars and training sessions on behalf of the LSSA and the Black Lawyers Association (BLA).
Marcus holds an LLB (University of Pretoria) and an LLM (University of South Africa), and is completing a PhD in Immigration Law at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). He is known for his strategic problem-solving approach, precise legal drafting, and experience in complex immigration matters. Marcus is a member of the Legal Practice Council (LPC), the Pretoria Attorneys Association (PAA) and the LSSA.
